I get upset very easily and will cry buckets when even slightly frustrated or told even politely that I've done something wrong, but I don't tend to cry over fiction or happiness.

I do remember as a child my personification issue kicked in and I had to be taken out of a school assembly because I sobbed for hours over the Meatball Song.

 

I cried once because I wanted to re-organize the anatomy lab cabinets a different way and my boss at the time said no because he liked the current system.

 

as a tiny Lambda, I once had to be taken out of class for like 10+ minutes because I was having intrusive thoughts about ducks caught in an oil slick, and I couldn't stop crying

 

I once spent a few hours crying over a helium balloon I had let fly away, because I felt so bad for the balloon.

 

@palindromordnilap Me too! I was given a balloon in a supermarket and pretty much instantly let it fly up to the ceiling, and cried the whole trip round because nobody could/would go get it even though I could see it RIGHT THERE.

I'm not crying, but I do want to gently pat everyone in this thread.

 

Also, a thing I mentioned in the CDCF, but: the Starbound OST. Specifically, the tiny bit of "On the Beach at Night" that plays near the end of the menu theme ALWAYS makes me tear up for some reason, but it can also happen with other stuff in the soundtrack.
