Abby-cat is snuggled up on my legs

Want to get my computer but moving while kitten is on top of me and comfy is a felony offense. I know bc kitten told me so

My cats, Pumpkin and Goblin. My ex-spouse and I adopted them 12 years ago, when goblin was just a baby. Pumpkin raised her as her own.

Pumpkin was always the friendly one, the one who would get right up in the face of any visitor who dared to sit where she could reach them. She'd get right up in their faces and demand petting, and once the purring started she would begin to melt.

Goblin has generally been the shy and skittish one, although she's gotten a lot more relaxed and confident over the years. As a baby she had great big smeagol eyes and ridiculous bat ears, but she's kind of grown into them.

She also has a favorite blanket, what we used to wrap her up in when we needed to hold her still for medicine or claw trimming or whatever. She follows it around, sleeping on it preferentially whether it's on the bed, on a chair, on the floor, wherever. Sometimes when she's playful she wrestles with it and throws it around, which can be a problem on the bed.

They look so soft! Right hand kitties lack of commitment to tabby is fascinating and adorbs.

 

Right hand kitty is Isaac, the younger and twitchier of the two. We like to say he has racing stripes on his legs, and he goes so fast he blurs out all the other stripes. :D They are also ridiculously soft, and two different yet complimentary textures of soft. We seriously lucked out in our Kitty Brotherhood - this was the third cat we tried having Fiyero (left hand cat) live with, but the only one that we went into as a permanent arrangement (the others were just roommates' kitties, and had mixed success getting along).
