A sleepy boy!!! This is DSK, a feral who wandered into our house one winter and decided he liked pettins. He stayed in the basement that whole winter because ??? He wanted to I guess, despite having full run of the house once he'd been introduced to the other cats (who will also join the thread when I can find them for photos). We hadn't named him by the time we got him to the vet for shots and neutering, so he is officially "Downstairs Kitty" even though he is now much more confident and will cuddle people ANYWHERE.

And then I accidentally woke him up by taking pictures while he slept on me. Little bit of baldybutt there-- the vet can't figure out why and it doesn't seem to bother him any now that he's indoors, but for some reason he just doesn't grow an undercoat on half his back. Probably why he didn't like the snow!

Last saturday we resumed dnd and the hostess' cats continue to delight, unfortunately the pics are on another device but i can wrangle them onto this one at some point

Green eyes are p common in the local feral population, that's just how we roll here :P Three of my five have The Green, even if DSK is the only brown tabby left of them! (The other two are black-and-white patches and a faded calico.)

Bobby! (Ft. My Hand because I needed to apologise for waking him up.) Another feral adoptee, he came in 'cause he had a nasty abscess on his tail and needed aftercare when he got out of surgery. This is also why his name is Bobby, he's our bobtail :P
...Bobby has all the fun vet stories, actually. Even the vet couldn't sex him properly when we brought him in for the tail surgery, so when we also scheduled a spaying for "her" the poor guy ended up cut open before we realized he was actually a Lorge but Young dude catte whose balls weren't particularly noticeable yet. A+. Also a cuddle bug for all that, though.

Aaaand Raye! (Also Bean, Kitten (even though she is no longer a kitten :P), Moochy/Smoochy.) She is the youngest cat in the house, the last kitten of an old half-feral lady who is no longer with us. She got brought in early because her first summer was hella rainy and flooding was happening; by extension, she is also the most well-socialised and tolerant furball of the lot :P Her eyes aren't showing well because phone camera and my bedroom light is yellow, but they are actually a very pretty celery green!

my fursona Anxious Cat enjoying her private breakfast, because Angel is A Literal Cryptid and only rarely appears for any other reason. She's doing a lot better now that she has space we keep clear of the other cats, but she still only wants affection on Her Terms (which are usually "I'm gonna walk on your organs and knead with Mighty Huntress Claws at 2am").
