It turns out that there's another bun that lives in my yard, this one significantly smaller! A baby!
Apparently there's a family somewhere.

I'm just hoping that they don't eat all the vegetables we just planted. I know the big one goes over to our neighbor's yard to nibble on his extensive vegetable garden.

 

You can get stuff to spray around the perimeter of the garden that bunnies don't like the smell of that's bunny- and people- safe.

 

Planting marigolds around stuff supposedly helps with that, too.

I say puppies, but Twix (the dark greybeard) is in fact a sleepy old man who is not a model, the camera just goes off at all his best angles. i only have one picture of her in our new house,the rest of these are from when we lived in vegas:

this is my favoritest grumpy sausage, my shelby. it's really hard getting photos of her because she refuses to sit still for them so i have to sneak them in when she's either distracted or sleeping. but i love her, very dearly. she is a grumpy old lady now, we got her when she was like 3 or 4, she's probably 9 or 10 now. she is also technically a celebrity, she used to belong to the step daughter of the race car driver carol shelby, thus the name.

we built a ramp in our new back deck so she could go down it easier and instead she takes the stairs, directly next to the ramp, and looks upset at me that she has to use the stairs and i'm like "shelby what is wrong with you the ramp is literally right there oh my god dog, why are you." she is very stubborn.
