they are!!

the splotchy faced one is one of those cats who likes to be pet, but his style of getting pets involves walking away from people and plopping over suddenly in the middle of the floor, or a hall, or somesuch. and he expects all food is for him, and likes to try tugging plates and cups off of tables.

the little black one has two settings, RUNNING PLAY TIME and sleep. he's very skittish yet so he doesn't go anywhere near people he doesn't know well (which tragically includes me) but he's willing to cuddle a little bit with the people he likes. and he purrs like an engine, holy crap, how does that much purr come from a kitty.

 

today!!! steve had an outdoor adventure!!!!

and then!! while steve was rolling around in the dirt my roommate and his dog wizard showed up at the end of their morning walkies so we had a leash party

My mom sent me this pic of Smuggles which i guess is more recent? They shave the cattos fur because apparently she's "too fat" to groom properly and nobody at the long term care home has time to brush her :(

This is Pepsi, my coworker's doge. I posted some pics of her earlier this year. Her owner was leaving to take her to an appointment or something but we were outside for a thing so she brought pepsi over. She was nervous and licked my hand. Despite being grey shes apparently only a year old
