stridercest week day 1: On The Road

I imagine Dirk likes to drive a lot, it’s soothing and monotonous especially on long drives. Hal gives directions and tries to get everyone to go to tourist traps or occasionally loops them into scenic routes that take much longer so he can see as well. Dave alternates between riding shotgun or flopping in the back seat if he gets carsick or buckling up right behind Dirk so he can reach up behind him at random to sneak his hands up his shirt or talk near his ear. It also gives him more free space to gesticulate during rap battles, which Dirk’s able to participate in without much effort.

There is, of course, copious junk food during these trips. I’m not sure if they’re physically capable of eating only one fry at a time or not.
