I saw this a few times. It's just people typing out the changelog in match chat, they didn't actually switch to Sombra.
This, they do it in server chat for the color and you can tell by their name being followed by a colon
I JUST HAD. The most amazing experience. Ever. So I was playing with four friends in the PvP, and so we naturally got a random person stuck in the sixth slot. My friends and I had decided beforehand that we were gonna play as all Pharahs because we all had different Pharah skins. We didn't even have to tell the other player what we were doing, they just did automatically. Six man Pharah. We almost won, but man it was mostly just SO MUCH FUN. So for the next round we were put against the same team and we were gonna just go back to normal but then we get to the capture point and they're all Tracers So then as soon as each of us dies, we switch to Tracer too Twelve man Tracer It was great, and hilarious, and there was only one person who stopped playing along (switched to Pharah) SO NEXT ROUND COMES ALONG, THE ONE DUDE WHO DOESN'T PLAY ALONG LEFT, BUT THE TEAMS ARE OTHERWISE THE SAME WE DECIDE TO PLAY HANZO VS GENJI IT WAS AMAZING So many brother jokes Next game we played was Junkrat vs. Roadhog then we switched to a Custom match just so it wouldn't potentially put us against another team, and played Lucio vs Mercy (there were so many revives. They wouldn't die. It was amazing) And then Reaper Vs. Soldier and all Meis (MEIDAY. SO MANY ICE PUNS. SO MANY ICE WALLS.) and, finally. Reinhardt vs. Winston. it was just SO MUCH FUN I stopped keeping track of who won what and it was beautiful and they were all the best sports ever and long story short I now have a lot more friends in-game
I played it a bit last night, it's fun! (on PC) Some of the new emotes are hilarious. I also got several easy kills as Mercy on people playing around with the sit emote ...
Oh, you're that kinda asshole! i sat my Roadhog on a truck in Volskaya during a skirmish and got killed by a Mercy. /bitter /notreally What I am bitter about is the first Eichenwalde skirmish I got in, the "opposing team" had six players to our just me and wouldn't let me go, even though I was just trying to have a look at the map. Fucking, a Genji chased me halfway across the map. Like a cockhole. Fucking, the playerbase got so much worse now that I'm stuck with people with stars below their names. Apparently only assholes prestige.
I'm in the mid 40s and get matched with starred people and haven't dealt too much with that yet? Eichenwald has some delightful fall-off-a-bridge locations for Mercy to dive into and die, I found.
I decided to try out Mei last night and had the time of my life being an annoying piece of shit. Hopefully I get to keep practicing tonight!
Oh boy, I Winston leapt off that map three times one match. And, yeh, it's an unfair assertion. I meet plenty of players who aren't dicks, I just remember the ones who are. Unrelated, but I saw a dude with four stars. Four! A Zarya main. She must play this game all the fucking time!
Eichenwalde is really fun to maneuver around as Genji, Pharah, and Widowmaker. Widowmaker especially-- there's a lot of really good sniping spots that she and Pharah are the only ones able to get to. If Sombra is a stealth/assassin character, it's definitely a map designed to play to her strengths.
Well, any place anyone else can get to, Mercy can generally get to :) but only if someone is there already to jump up to.
I just played a competitive match where 4 people on the enemy team left after the first round. It felt pretty cruel, the second round. Just a Zarya and a Junkrat trying to defend a point. I'm not sure what to do when that shit comes up.
I've gotten so many cards with over 100% kill participation. I've started a collection of skill and resignation.
So who's playing competitive? Worth noting that the ten qualifying games will probably be harder than the games after that, because it's players of all skill levels. I won 2 of 10 qualifying and one was a draw. And then once ranked I have won all 4 competitive games I've played.
Spoiler: salt Actually, though, it's very frustrating to main healers in this game. DPS is favored so heavily that I keep getting shafted in solo queue and put with people who don't play very well. And then we lose because not enough damage is being done. And then I'm put with worse people for losing. When I play with my friends that like maining DPS characters and are able to get shit done, this is not even remotely a problem. This sounds like I'm complaining about having to be carried but seriously I got 5 POTGs as Mercy the other night while in a group. One of them was a triple kill. ETA: SOURCE
I'm meaning like, calculation wise? How can one participate in more kills than the total? It seems that a percentage is being misused there.
