A protip for kill hungry DPS: when you are chasing a half health Reinhardt away from the payload and he backs through a narrow doorway, maybe take a second to think about what Reinhardt does. And then go through the door anyway and get charge killed, you fucking dingaling. Protip for Reins: apparently, DPS characters are supremely easy to bait into easy charge kill scenarios.
Taking out key characters is important tactically so if you're playing one of those you will be specifically hunted, especially by flanking characters (Tracer, Genji, Reaper). Also, as you play more and get better, the game starts matching you with other players who are better. I'm sure there's an internal rating for each player.
I almost always aim for healers first. No matter what I'm playing. It has probably pissed off a fair few healers that I've played against, but also I feel like their teams deserve it when the Rein and two Roadhogs never bother to turn around as I'm devouring their Mercy and Zenyatta whole. (Sym, as it turns out, is a beast at eating other support characters.)
I'm aware. And I played my placement matches, so I'm gonna guess I'm getting quickplay matched with peeps around that level. I just think maybe most people in quickplay matches with me are more concerned with getting kills than aiming for prime targets. Not all of them. Last match there was a Tracer and a Reaper who were pretty intent on catching our Mercies, but they were pretty bad at it, I guess, cause my Rein was able to bodyguard them pretty decent, even though Reins are p easy prey for Tracers and Reaps in my experience. Uhh, yeh. I dunno! Some people just don't play smart, they play kill hungry. And close range characters, it's like, might as well prioritize healers, you're already gonna be in the thick of it, best kill the most important one while you're still up, but longer range dudes, it's like, hold a good spot, kill who you can get a shot on. I think that's the distinction I make.
A YouTube video I watched recently described that as "they're in Single Player Mode" — not paying attention to the team, playing like everyone else is just supporting AI. And as if the match is won by kill count only.
Yes she is, played right. And you absolutely should be going for the healers. There are no rules except "play to win" and "don't exploit bugs or hacks because you'll be banned."
It has backfired on me when the tanks like, actually pay attention. I feel like paying attention and playing like a team is unfair, because I am being targeted by these people killing me for attacking their healers like a horrible beam monster. :P I played her on KoTH for kicks (because Sym's beam can pick up the basketballs, and I wanted to score some sweet points) and oh my god. It was a slaughter. At one point the enemy team went three Roadhogs and two D.Vas, all gunning for me. It didn't work out for them, but I can appreciate the effort.
i posted this guy's junkrat vid a while back, but i found his whole channel & he has a pre-nerf ps4 torbjorn vid up & i love it
Finally managed a tremendous backcap on Hollywood. Defense was too aggressive, pushing us to our spawn when the cart was about halfway to the first point, so I Tracer zipped past them and sat on the cart till it was literally a meter from the first point. Then the Zenyatta came back from his spawn and I was so shocked that I'd actually pulled it off to murder him all proper like. It's been a day of weird matches. Back to back "2 or 3 of the enemy are being friendly" deals on Gibraltar that effectively stalled the payload before the first point. A 1 v 1 with a Zarya as Ana that I very nearly won till her two Zenyattas showed up to save her. Close range! Slept her twice! A Trojan horse type deal where a Tracer kept hanging out on our back lines being friendly and useless, till she stepped in to give her team overtime after we'd cleared them all out. And killed me, after all those times I'd waved at her all friendly like and stopped shooting when she'd failed to be aggressive. :< It's been a weird day.
OH MY GOD so I was looking for wallpapers because I like to change shit up and jUST HELP ME I'M LAUGHING SO HARD?
why does he have a bunch of exclamation marks on his waist? i thought he was edgy edgeman, very dark no fun is he excited that he can only see kills
So, playing in Nepal I heard Junkrat say something about how being there made him wish he were an atheist, and I am wondering why "Junkrat is some shade of religious" has never been brought up in any of the roughly eight billion Junkrat-centric fics I've read. What kinda religion does he follow, you think?
To be honest I am somewhat happy thr fandom doesn't do anything with that. I am a snob with religion in fiction. Also it's possible many don't even know about the line? I will definitely have to think about this though. Nit sure what sort he'd follow.
