Yeah I'm... actually pretty happy with this, in part because Widow/Tracer was popular but not one of the biggest, most vocal ships. Which means that every other ship is easily on the table, and I'm not going to have to listen to people screaming about Genji/Zenyatta vs Mercy/Genji vs Pharah/Mercy vs... and so on. Tracer got pretty neglected in terms of shipbaiting, honestly.

And if they do reveal more queer characters (DO IT BLIZZ, MAN UP AND GIVE THEM TO US) I've gotta say, having the promotional face of the game being confirmed gay is really nice. And a really bold move, all things considered.

Really though the Mei brawl is fucking horrifying. Just a bunch of Mei voices going "I've got something for you!" while quiet Christmas music plays. Oh gods. OH GODS. PAT PAT PAT.

 

The Mei brawl is literally a survival horror mode and no one can convince me otherwise.

I am sorta surprised that Tracer can apparently take her harness off without losing temporal stability. I guess maybe the time thing doesn't act up until she's had it off for a while?
