My ships are mostly the ones with cute names. Meihem, Snow Bears/Bunnies/Angels, Pharmercy, Boombox. But Overwatch is so canon light that it's like, whatever man, anything can be a good ship, yeah?

Oops and then I imagined Reaper <3< Winston. Uh. Huh.

i want someone to make Winston/Bastion a thing. Ship the unshipables!

did you guys know that Tracer says "sorry, big guy" when she kills an enemy Winston? I didn't. It was pretty cute.


In other news! Today I instigated a five Lucio defense squad! Five Lucio and one Bastion who thought he could carry the team by himself. We lost. Badly. disappointing thing, everyone but me switched after the first death! I figured they knew they were signing on to lose the minute the switched to Lucio, but. I guess maybe the way the other team refused to hunor the joke mighta killed it. It was like someone rung the dinner bell, haha. "Free kills!"

 

We fought against an all Zarya+one Lucio team on Nepal (and then later, an all Lucio with One Junkrat) team and both were just. Too much fun.

But it sucks when they don't keep it going! You Gotta Commit.

(Also, since I know you play Sym a lot-- her turrets can be placed on a Junkrat tire. I haven't done it yet myself and don't know how easy it would be on console but, hey! It's an option.)

My sibling inflicted a ton of quotes on me while we were waiting for pizza this weekend and my favorite is if she kills a Reaper she does a bad imitation of him and it's beautiful.

 

winston<>bastion? Bastion must be pretty rusty and battered after spending so long out in the elements. Romantic tune-up/maintenance dates? :3

also did that roleswap tracer and winston thing you mentioned in the status posts a while ago ever go anywhere? where Tracer was a squirrel monkey? cause that was A Good

 

Nope! Gonna try and draw it at some point, tho. Gtta read up on Winston and Tracer's backstories again if I wanna do anything else with it.

 

So the new Weekly Brawl is amazing and I love it with all my heart

....also I just now realised that most(/all?) of you guys are probably playing on the American servers. Does anyone know how things (if anything) works cross-server? Or if you can play on a server you don't actually 'belong' to?

I'm asking because I'd really like to try a couple of kintsugi matches at some point and that's sort of tricky if I can't get on the right server, hm

 

I don't think you can play cross server, but you can play on servers you don't belong to-- I have a Welsh friend and two Aussies that play in a team with me on the regular. They just play on American servers.

 

The support one? Or did it change when I wasn't looking?

Symmetras and Zenyattas everywhere.

 

I only played one of those matches, and it was the very first Zenyatta PoTG I'd seen. Zenny does mad damage, he's just a slow, delicate fuck. Back him up with five other healers and he wrecks shop.

 

I've played two, both as Mercy bc she's my main everything I love her, once actually playing healer and once refusing to even touch anything but the gun and asking the other Mercy to damage boost me. Got 21 kills and STILL had the potg be me reviving people. THE ONE TIME I DID IT. SIGHS.

ive had a mercy potg shooting people in a normal quickplay game. it was hilarious. ive never been more proud.

 

Me and @Mendacity were playing our mains (so, Symmetra and Mercy respectively) with her damage boosting me while I ran around eating people alive. It was wonderful.

 

Got a Mei/Junkrat interaction the other day. I like how she hates him and he's just "ice pun!! :D"

 

do we have the kintsugi battletags collected somewhere? like a spreadsheet or smth? (should we make a spreadsheet or smth?) ((wow there sure are a lot of kintsugi spreadsheets lately))

....also is anyone up for playing at some point today? as long as it's not too late in my timezone i should be able to skype, too, if someone wants to

 

We don't, but if someone feels up to making a spreadsheet, I'm happy to link it in the first post. Idk if I have you on my friends list, but I'm also up for playing any time!

 

I've never made a spreadsheet before, I'm not sure what info should be on there. Does this work as a start?
(sorry about the colours - if they make things more confusing/hurt people's eyes we can remove them, but they tend to help me keep track of the columns and make it easier for me to process spreadsheet information properly)
I figure "time generally available to play" should be on there too, but I don't know what timezone to use for it...

also 'main' is on there for reasons of 'it's fun' and 'statistics', but mainly bc i am very curious

I don't think I am! This is because when I first got Overwatch and added everyone in the thread I did so through the European server aaaand I think maybe that doesn't work? (I am assuming it doesn't work because when I tried going on the american server instead there was a friends request waiting for me, and because the other explanation is that the whole thread unanimously decided to reject my friends requests, and that sounds statistically unlikely.)
