No, it's a liquid medium primarily used for moving around oxygen in humans. Because everything else in us needs oxygen to work. Humans are... complicated.

Uh, we've got a lot of water in us, but we're mostly made of cells. Cells are organized protein sacks, I guess? Very tiny. Microscopic. And part of cells is a little water sack, so that's where the 'humans are mostly water' thing comes from.
