She fought. Her father trained her, because she was too fiery to just sit at home, and together they and a few more worked to overthrow a corrupt regime on her homeworld.

It... it didn't end well.

But she's made quite a difference on some other worlds, since then.

 

Maybe she should come to mine. We've never been able to make any progress - it all just feels hopeless, like we'll be treated like this forever. But if someone can make a difference...

They're not really stories, just history and laws and stuff. If someone killed me, that would be legal. It's messed up. They treat us like we're not human. Which, I guess we aren't, but still!

 

Ah yes. You complain that if you have been killed, that would be bad. Ive been killed and come back about 30 times. You have no idea how it feels.

 

... Did you just say what I thought you said? That you've came back to life thirty times? And that dying is not bad?

I mean, I'm immortal so I wouldn't know, but... dying doesn't sound like fun.

 

I'm not saying I know what it's like to die. I'm saying that it shouldn't be legal to kill anyone. It shouldn't be legal to use someone for entertainment, and then turn around and hurt someone just like them.
