You would be correct in that I don't know what Christmas is. Also my feet are pretty small, I'm not sure what would fit in my socks. Food, maybe, but I wouldn't want to eat it out of my socks.

Stockings, not socks. They're different. And much bigger than anybody's socks, really. Even those of people with big feet.

 

They make special socks just for Christmas now! You can fit a bunch of stuff in them. I used to be able to fit my head in mine. We used to get candy in them all the time.

I wouldn't be surprised if you and Valiska were both. It sounds like the early days were pretty pale.

But pale quadrangles and pentangles are possible, yeah? So, while I might not join yours, I could have my own. Or my own flushed or pitch quadrangle, perhaps - which wouldn't include you 'cause you wouldn't wanna be in it.

The early days were pale out of necessity. I did lose my cursebreakers' guild licence briefly however, for falling in love with a client. We've always been both. We also have a bad tendency to auspistice for each other and if you saw us fencing you'd think we were pitch. That's why the troll girls say I'm the Disciple and we surpass the quadrants.

 

I think it's length, not opacity? I have no idea, honestly. The term re: Christmas has developed its own meaning as 'vaguely socklike thing you get goodies in.'
