That's a really, really, really, really long story. The shortest answer is that he is the evil son of a bitch that broke the multiverse, most severely in dimensions 46'\ through 52, but ranging through quite a few others. Also, a demon, only I didn't know it when I freed him. He was trapped, bound, you know. Also he betrayed me over and over again long before he broke the multiverse. Lise is, I hope, wise enough not to focus on him, but rather to be doing this out of the knowledge that Bill is made of cruelty, boredom and spite and the multiverse would be better without him. Right?

 

If you mean am I allowing my hatred of Bill to bind me to him, I am not.

If you mean it's not personal at all...it so is. Because I love you more than I love the entirety of the multiverse even if I do, like you, recognise that it wouldn't be ethical to act that way at all times.
