I'm a Gem so I can get away with not eating. Organic beings, however, have to eat in order to live. I honestly don't know how they stand it, but it is something they have to do, even if they dislike it.

I understand disliking eating, yes. But if you're organic, you likely need to eat and cannot quit doing it simply because you hate it. You may want to but if you do, you will drastically shorten your life expectancy.

 

Nah, doc they just kinda... decompose like flesh usually does. I don't usually stick around to watch them rot.
And it'd be creepy if we collected them or anything.
They aren't really useful so we just ditch em unless we can get them sewn back on. Last one's faster.
