I Dont Think You Quite Grasp The Options Here.
The Options Are
A) I Follow Orders Like A Good Troll. I Get Conscripted, Assigned A Post And Kill Whatever I Am Ordered To Kill.
B) I Get Conscripted And Defy Orders, In The Field In Front Of My Superior. I Get Culled Right Then And There, Specibus To The Head. Boom.
C) I Get Conscripted And Defect While Not In The Field, Become A Space Pirate And Still Have To Kill Sentient Beings To Survive, Either Trolls Or Aliens. Or I Get Caught And Culled.
D) I Try To Dodge Conscription. So I Either Kill And Terrorize Wigglers To Survive, Somehow Get Off Planet And Become A Space Pirate (See Point C) Or Get Found Out And Culled.

TL;DR: The Options Are Kill Or Be Killed. And Trolls Are Very Effective At Killing. So The "Be Killed" Part Would Effectively Save Many Lives.

 

I get the options just fine. But if your culture sucked less, there'd be an option (E) I Never Need To Kill Anyone And So I Dont.

2) If They Asked Me To Kill Them For Whatever Reason i Probably Would Because I Expect Them To Do The Same
