I'm a Thief of Breath somehow, though I never actually played the game. Still not sure what I think of it. I mean, it makes sense, I have done some pretty bad things to get my freedom, but... I also care about other people's freedom now. Which I guess I could do and still be a Thief, yeah.

Bill's a Lord of Breath, and he does need some hardcore constraining, after all. His idea of freedom is, honestly, more than a bit ridiculous. I mean, he wants to strike at the very foundation of the multiverse and turn it into pure chaos. No laws of physics, no laws of magic, no laws of anything...

The Purge: Laws of Nature Edition. That's what Weirdmaggedon was.

So yeah, I guess there's need for a Thief of Breath, after all.

Also+, I'm pretty sure that, yeah, I'm a "maid" as far as the game is co+ncerned. I do+n't really like it, but I suppo+se my struggling against that is part o+f what go+t us stuck in this mess. I never really learned what it meant to+ be o+ne. Never really learned what Space meant either beyo+nd the who+le fro+g thing. Which I said no+ to+ pretty quick!

Anyway. Yeah, I guess having to+ do+ awful things to+ get yo+ur freedo+m is "bad". Still, let's lo+o+k at it this way. Think o+f the so+rt o+f situatio+n yo+u were in. Were yo+u suppo+sed to+ just grin and bear it? Be a go+o+d little bo+y and take everything yo+u get? Even past that the impo+rtant thing is that yo+u seem to+ realize that what yo+u did was pretty messed up and yo+u're using yo+ur freedo+m to+ care abo+ut the freedo+ms o+f o+thers. Everyo+ne has a sho+t at redemptio+n, No+rm. At least I believe that anyway.

 

Oh? Huh. So+ mo+re like what became o+f Kanny and Meulin then? The Sufferer and the Disciple. Basically they "transcended the quadrants", which translates to+ just fitting all the vario+us ro+les o+f each in o+ne relatio+nship. At least as far as I co+uld tell.

And yeah, I don't think I could've been a good little boy. It'd have made things easier for everyone else, probably, but... I wouldn't have been able to stand it myself. *laughs* I definitely feel the Breath part of my title, despite not being sure if the Thief part is who I wanna be. I mean, I can see it being who I am and might've been okay with it before, but... yeah...

I think we all feel that way. Space just seems to do that to the people it chooses. And yes...transcending the quadrants feels about right.

I honestly dunno what the opposite of mine is, but if it means the opposite of what I think my title means, I don't want it. *frowns* But... if it's Page of Blood, learning how to do relationships and stuff, having lots of potential but never reaching it, I reckon I've already started inverting or ghosting it.

And I guess I'm surprisingly okay with that, since it's less about being constricted than I'd expect the inverse of Thief of Breath to be. Or, well, it's about being constricted by loving people, caring about them, and wanting them to like me. Which, at least, is a thing I sorta chose. Not entirely 'cause my feelings aren't really that controllable, but... since my feelings are pointing in that direction, I guess I might as well be choosing it.

 

Yeah, I can't even begin to+ guess at what my o+ppo+site might be. Outside o+f dumb puns, which I really do+n't put past this game at this po+int. So+, instead o+f so+meo+ne who+ cleans up "space", whatever that is, I'd be so+meo+ne who+ mussies it up. Or maybe I'm be so+meo+ne who+ isn't made o+f it. Maybe so+meo+ne who+ needs to+ beco+me made o+f it? Or no+t at all.
