If this is a contest, I'm not playing. I am not playing at all right now. I don't care who has it worse. I'm not saying I ever had it worse than you. I'm not even going to attempt to compare the way being enslaved feels to being betrayed by someone you believed loved you as much as you loved them. They are entirely different kinds of pain and they are not comparable.

I don't want your fucking sympathy and I'm not asking for it.

I believe, as my wife believes, that these beings are evil, and that it does not matter whether a being that has that sort of power and malevolence tricks you into thinking it was your own idea, or just takes what it wants from you regardless of your consent. Uninformed consent is not true consent, and they are different kinds of pain, and nobody ever deserves to be used by a being that powerful for its own purposes.
