Half-Life, I don't like that my people are so easily damaged either. But I can't change that, so instead I just patch them up when they're damaged (and usually lecture them about making stupid decisions, although that's thankfully been less necessary since I moved dimensions.)

 

Oh um. I didn't mean to imply they aren't interesting to study! I like studying a lot actually. Studying is great! Though I lost most of my research notes on radioactivity and weld-setting speed.

We're all a bit stretched thin when it comes to resources as is :c I would love to do that! But... fuel is a little more important than my silly research projects.

Do what you can. A lot of research is just observations, carefully taken and then used when resources are more freely available. :)

Also, do not worry about research being 'silly'. Science is... the observation of the world around you, and a constant strive to improve. That is not silly. Focus on what you can do in the now, but dream towards the future.
