Back to the point I was trying to make which is that, as much as I understand Reffy, and believe me I do and I would have done the same thing, I have also seen him tear a mech apart at very little provocation and that is not how our first contact with this colony should go.
And besides I get twitchy when he engages the enemy, he was on Recon Duty and he isn't even armed right now. He is supposed to stay away from the frontline so I don't worry myself sick.

Protection is part of our bond. What sort of partner would I be if I didn't defend my crewmates, regardless of their own combat capabilities? Bad enough I have to rely on commlinks to stay in contact, not going to just abandon Jetski =[[[[

 

It's pretty easy even! I'll probably have to build one specially for your specs considering you are so light for your size but that will be fun anyway. I don't currently carry anything I can give you to try out though i'm used to knockback and you aren't and I don't want you to get hurt. Hm. Let me figure out a good set up first but I'll definitly be open for lessons about handling weapons, integrated systems or otherwise.

Yes, magical beings in my world tend to live for quite a while, and this includes familiars, too.

I'm able to use magic to defend myself, but I can get pretty terrified if there's a scary person and my familiars aren't around to protect me, and I seize up instead of doing anything.

Of course, they can be a bit, well, overzealous, and I've often had to stop them from killing people for attacking me, but they are loyal and mean well, especially Samekichi.

Samekichi's a great white shark that looks a bit like Sal, since they're brothers. Then there is Memoca, a mischievous seagull girl, Dolphi, a very timid dolphin girl, and Fukami, a rather quiet octopus boy, in case you see any of them. I'd like to have them with me in this strange dimension.
