Standard medical protocols can, in certain individuals, induce hyper-empathy. It's in my best interests for no one on this ship to have constant migraines, because the protocols will go off until that's fixed, and on this ship, someone is going to be encrypting a message at any given time.

If someone is a walking weapons that has made it abundantly clear that they intend to use themselves as a weapon, I will treat them as a weapon. And this is with the full knowledge that there are Cybertronians with gun alt-modes that are less dangerous than this guy. And bombs. I know of at least one walking bomb.

If his options are 'be in pain' or 'violate everyone around me', I will happily accept him being in pain.

Though given that Lacuna and her sibling have mastered their ability to be walking bombs in less than 200 years while he has been around for 2 million without ever considering a way to defuse himself, I'm also inclined to ascribe a bit of malice. I'm mean like that.
