...does your universe not have the concept of "using an alias"? Grey-Jame happens to be using someone's actual name, boo hoo, it happens, better than using a too-fancy fake name that draws attention. Shades know I've used dead friends' names plenty of times.

Phrasing this politely without knowing preferred name is difficult, sorry. Are you familiar with concept of multiple universes?

 

Grey-Jame was earlier called Torisen, now lives called Jameth to avoid detection because... (shenanigans?) And Grey-Jame's sister was called Jame but is now called Torisen, but is not in here.

 

It...Would be rather nice to go by my actual name for once. Though I've a feeling it will feel somehow off given how long I've had to be the sister. At any rate, if by multiple universes you mean other worlds then yes. Every Kencyr knows of other worlds. We traveled to Rathilien from another and another before that.

Some other worlds are... hm, mirrors? Mirrors with only a few things off. Possible other-Jame is from one such world mirrored with Torisen's own, where instead of switching places Knorth-Jame was cast out and her brother Torisen became Highlord.

This space is... odd. A place between worlds, maybe, or a world where all mix. (I'm not a... physicist? is this physics? My science is linguistics, don't really know how the worldhopping works except as experienced so far.) So we get confusion like "but which Jame is this?"

 

It can just be Tori, really.
