Dreams are surprisingly powerful against the demon, dude. They're what he draws his power from and what he lacks. There what he makes the world into, basically. What he gets you with.

 

I'm fine now. My wife got the demon out of my brain and then the demon made some big mistakes, and we were able to defeat him.

 

Actually, you can get Bill out of your body with physical attacks if he has a time-limited deal with you. Bill possessed Dipper once and Mabel tickled him out of Dipper. If you make the vessel he's inhabiting sufficiently uncomfortable, he'll leave.

But I'm so smart that I made an extremely special mistake. We were contracted till the end of time. Valiska helped me lock Bill out of my brain by inking and/or carving wards all over me (and yes that hurt as much as you think it does) and arranging for me to get a metal plate put in my skull. But the real end of the thing came when Bill himself declared time dead without thinking about the ramifications. After that we were able to kill his physical body--which was mostly done by a friend of ours--and banish him.

 

Well, tickling is different than "oh, I'll swing my sword at Bill and boom, look now the world is safe," so...

 

Oh, he is... :) My matesprit is a badass spark with muscles, brains, and magic. And the floofiest, silkiest hair.
