Anyway I had to drag a fully grown twenty-nine year old man away from a pet store today because he insisted that he was going to adopt all of the cats that were up for adoption.

He cried later, bawling 'They need me!' and 'They're so lonely!' and 'Did you see that one that looked like you with the fluffy ears? IT WAS SO CUTE!!!!'

I bet it would be a lovely ceremony. What sort of festivities are typical to that sort of thing for you? I'm guessing the swarm of flesh-eating locusts would be a bit passé, and probably not right for your respective species.

Oh he knows. He's a darling, sweet, and very stupid boy that is very lonely and once claimed he was going to donate all of his money to the Droid Rights cause and go with me to live in the slums so we could spearhead the droid revolution.
