I have a theoretical understanding of this concept, but when it comes to applying it to myself and my fellow Citizens, I am lost. It is one of the reasons that we refrain from discussing our sexuality with aliens - they keep on trying to make it fit into their paradigms. And though that is an acceptable sacrifice sometimes, it does get... frustrating.
