He doesn't worry me or frighten me, he confuses me but he's rather controlled. I fear no bot that keeps themselves controlled and can be predicted, I fear the one that is unpredictable.

I meant that it's generally reasonable to assume someone who'll date you is also looking to 'face you eventually and that that's a thing that will happen.

 

You younguns and your relationship messes. Back in my day we still had proper courtship.

 

Reasonable assumption, yes. Which is why if that might be an issue, better to talk it out before the pair gets to that point. If partner's an aft about it one can get out before they're too invested, and if they're not the... worry? can be set aside relatively safely.
