I currently have no reason to attack Scanner, and doing so would only invite attacks in kind. Which is not something I currently feel like dealing with. Call it selfishness if it makes Scanner feel better.

While I'm glad to see someone with sensible threat-assessment protocols in here, I don't make a habit of intentionally causing trouble in neutral spaces. Or directly lying, for that matter.

Naturally, if Scanner doesn't trust me (as us only fair) my words mean frag-all anyway. Not sure what Scanner wants.

 

I'm actually getting most of what I want out of this. I don't want to presume you'd understand.

 

It's scary to get what you want because that's when people yank it away and punish you for thinking you could be-

For the record: as nothing concrete could be gained from fighting here of all places, I have no interest in taking away... whatever it is that's making other people happy. I acknowledge I can get... intrusive in the pursuit of knowledge, but I do not actually intend to cause problems in a neutral space. I see more to gain in maintaining an atmosphere of peace and exchange than one of fear and aggression.

 

...or that. Well.

I can't promise to be around forever, but attention's certainly something I'm willing to give while I can.
