But what if I get oil or grime on my feathers, that would be the WORST. I mean occassionally this kind of messing around is fun but I'm more of an artistic soul you see, I just can't with the kind of filth the engineering department has to deal with. I am ever so thankful that there are mechs and femmes more suited to such tasks than me.

"Welcome to the glamorous life of a combat medic," she says. She has an accent, kinda like German but not quite. "It drives me to drink, I swear. You'd think they didn't want to be healed. Make my job hard and then they complain. Why didn't you heal me quicker. This rate, there'll be no blonde left in my hair."

She looks over to Jules. "Are there any more where that came from?"

Yes! I'm the most highranked medic of my crew! It's a lot of responsibility and my patients are a little... well they get into trouble and that's bothersome but it's okay! I'd be out of work otherwise haha.

 

She grins wryly. "Omnics at least listen. Some of them are okay, now that they are no longer slaves. I'll give them that at least. And Omnics were made by greedy humans in the first place. It's my own species' fault."

She shrugs.

"Also, you are not Omnics. You're a different kind of machine. A different origin, I percieve. Not built by humans at all. And I'm part machine now myself. I can hardly criticize you for that. I used to hate. The war took my parents."

Oh, that's right, humans deteriorate from age differently. Do you - or, I suppose, the humans you're familiar with, have decent vertebral replacements? I'm given to understand quite a lot of their motor function runs through it. It's simply a support, for us.
