She leans back in her chair, sipping at the second orange daiquiri and tasting it this time.

"Are you ever going to let me repair that eye of yours?"

"Stubborn old woman," she says, sounding frustrated but with amusement in her expression.

"Maybe I should take a week or two off. Maybe they'd notice what I do for them, then. Leaving my comms at home. Just Fareeha and me. A cruise, perhaps, or something else hard to interrupt."

She sips at the tea.
