...Why not just snuff them now and take the intact parts for those who might actually survive? That certainly isn't enough plating to reliably protect much more than their spark casing, especially on a frame so large.

"Should" is a matter you'll have to sort out for yourselves. As asked, I've given my opinion: I would not continue attempting to save someone whose chances of survival are minimal even given the most successful reconstruction possible under the circumstances. Their parts would, in my experience, better serve the living.

... Lovely. I've worked on Primes before, and his model is... Rather old. That said, I think his plating has been sabotaged, and given the damage, especially the way his processor had to be rewired for him to be externally controlled... I'm not sure there's much that can be done.

I'll try if he wants me to, of course. But I'm also used to battlefield mercy.
