We do not. You volunteered with your actions, and we appreciate your efforts in doing so.

Crew will be vastly easier to take care of when most of them are no longer on ship. Do not agree with threats of coercive medical procedure regardless, but taking offense to statement that we are incapable of treating ship reduced from full crew roster.

Why do you assume most of the crew will leave the ship? I was speaking of care for the full complement which we currently have aboard.

I am perfectly aware of what you're capable of, Captain. I will also not underestimate your sense of loyalty to your crew.

 

Life Support's inability to properly process interpersonal relations without emotional regulation does not mean that he is indicative of everyone who functions without emotion chip enabled.

I do like you. I have no reason to lie about it.

Oh, but coping with rejection is a very important life skill. I here am just recording these wonderful milestones for posterity.

 

@Apostasia of Tetrahex has helpfully volunteered to take on emotionally distressed crewmembers directly following common knowledge of your chip deactivation. Will not be 'most' of the crew, but will be a significant number, which will mean that remaining crew will be more manageable. Especially since I am not under obligation to three differing command positions and therefore better able to manage my time and abilities.

Active encouragement of Life Support's self destructive behavior, despite significant crew distress, compounded by smug reassurance that your crew knows healthy coping methods. This is an invitation. Given that all three captains can be reasonably put under medical hold, it would not be hard to fly to your planet and drop hysterical crew members off.

Feelings are still there. Processing is... different. In time, you learn to connect with muted emotions and work with them. Beginning is much like how Life Support is now, but given that he has already admitted to being emotionally stunted and mostly incompetent, feel that his reaction is probably more extreme.

Emotions are not there always, but sometimes you can touch them through mental equivalent of metalmesh.
