He kisses back just as fiercely. This woman could not own him more if she tried. He is hers. Forever. "Til death do us part" is simply not enough as it stands.

He mumbles, but then goes back to kissing because honestly he does not actually care enough about adolescent maybe-extraterrestials.

I was about to say, tell me so I can do it more!
But engine-grease-stained fingers and tiny gears lodged in my frame because I miscalibrated a spring or two, got it.

 

Oh look at all of the darling, sweet, happy couples. It's enough to nearly make one sick.

 

His relief is so obvious it's almost a physical object as he gently tilts her chin up so he can kiss her again.

[there is no indication of when juice got there, but faint, soft, snoring emanates from beneath a few of the large sofa pillows. their beanie lies on top of one of the pillows]

 

But isn't that part of the whole mood of public displays of affection? Loving on one's sweetheart while strangers get ill due to the overwhelming affection, all joyously grasping their stomachs and crying "I'm so glad they're happy!"
