Hmmm. Are there more chocolate drinks? Or sweet things? Or could you show me how't actually make the hot chocolate one? I can prolly cache the verbal directions long enough, but-- seeing's. Easier? Like, it'll stick longer? What even is the melting point for the-- I guess the product made from the plant stuff, if Oneira's got chocolate but doesn't know the plant? There's a smelting pit in Corion, I could probably convince Rust'r Cogs to take me down there and they'll get Sil on board, but. Uh. Plant matter usually just kinda goes 'poof' [she makes an expansive gesture with two hands to illustrate] at what's just normal melting point for whatever's in frames and scrap?

Oneira refills Bit's chocolate mug with steaming milk, breaks a few ribs of chocolate into it, and stirs.
"Lotsa drinks are fairly easy, but there's lotsa fancy stuff as well."
She blinks.
"I just got the best idea and no one here can stop me."
Oneira grabs a variety of differently-coloured and -labeled bottles from a shelf that has definitely been there from the beginning, and begins filling a talls glass with layers of differently-coloured liquids, forming a rainbow, into which she inserts a long straw, and then sticks something that looks like a bobby pin topped off with a horned skull made of sugar on the rim.
"One Rainbow Drinker, also known as one of the edgiest drinks this side of the known universe."
(Different alcohols and tastes, full and fruity, tarter and sweeter in turn)

 

[Bit watches the making of the cocoa raptly, extra limbs folding quietly back into her torso.]

Huh. Okay. Guess we'll hafta figure out how to get the chocolate stuff, but-- should be easy enough! Thanks! Heh, at those temperatures I could prolly just wait for Sil to get all fussy about something and heat it up on their plating. [She laughs.]

Oneira grins. "Whatever works for you, but from what I gathered consumption of organic material ain't good for your internals outside the dreamscape.
"As for the skull, yeah, standard troll skull stand-in. Horns come in lotsa shapes, the slightly-above-temples-curved-and-pointed-upwards ones are the generalisation."

 

He quite rudely waves off.
"Please do go back to reading your fiction novels and leave us adults to it, yes my lad? My, don't you get stuffy underneath all that paint? Seems like quite a bigger ordeal than a few hits of powder and a tad of liquid rouge and that last is only if I want to seem easy."

"You may call me any of "Simon", "Seraphina", "Agent Schuyler", "Peter Barnett" or "That rascal in the corset climbing out the window with a priceless, confidential document". I generally respond to either of those."
He chuckles.

A light frown that he covers by taking a sip from his mug.
"I fear I can't quite follow, Sir."

Huh, cool! Do your horns relate to your sigils [she gestures to herself, roughly in the same area as Oneira wears her symbol] at all? Seems like it'd be a pretty easy starting point, even if finding a combined symbol for your group'd be a pain if your horns're all complicated.

Why would paint be stuffy? Paint's pretty! I mean, obvs I'm gonna not bother using any once my chromawhatsits come in but come onnn new paintjobs are the best!

I can actually answer that one. Verne's an old novelist who did scifi stuff. I'm guessing this guy is from the 1800s or somewhere around there, and that would put him anywhere from 50 to 100 years before our first manned flight to the moon.

I don't think I'm in the part of the timeline with space travel either. We haven't done anything interstellar yet, at least.
