Well, there was th´time we had onna dem big denters comin´in got a funny rattle in his chest. So we check everything, and Everything is fine except his vents are funny. So we knock him out an´open him up, and his fraggin poppet valve falls out. Just clangs onna berth like that. Fulla rust, just like his vents. We thought th´fragger was o´erdosin´circuit speeders. But his fuel readins´re fine, an´speeders don´t frag yer vent´s none either. So finally doc says take a look at his engine, and there´ his poppet valve, fine as can be. So finally what with where th´rust was in, we figure out he musta shoved someones fragging poppet valve up his exhaust vent and lost it in dere.

 

I've been working trauma since I was a teenager and the moral of this story is that you should never, ever, ever allow yourself to think there's something people won't put in their 'exhaust vents'.
