There's an unpleasant tearing in reality, localized on the Spirit-Touched, and then there are two. Her lower half is a tentacled cephalopodean mass, like and unlike an octopi or squid and also completely not, constantly changing, tentacles reeling into the base, being devoured and replaced. Her skin is even paler, translucent, and instead of hinting at veins and capillaries a shadow-play of an ecosystem, bottom-feeders clinging to sand, shadows darting under the film. Her fingers are too long and the nails even longer, deep bruise purple claws made for cracking things open, prying out soft secret insides. She's emaciated, skin stretched over a frame, but the face is the same, and the head of bone white-blonde hair is the same if longer, billowing out in unseen currents. Her human torso is covered in pale gold and amethysts, scavenged from shipwrecks. The eyes-
