Some of these words make her recoil in disgust, others remind her of something Caitriona had mentioned. Something Magari.)
That... Hm. Transmutation is Magic, Daberachi. Life is Magari. Chimaerologists combine the two, changing the bends of the circle, widening it.
(She puts her index finger on her cheek, pondering)
Rillyeneth too, come to think of it, with her metal parts. Vereyanni and Magari in her case, though.
As in, prolonging life spans?

 

[juice walks over to the mi and offers comfort pets. the suspicious feline is ignored.]

"Are you really sure you want to discuss this?" Ford asks, very quietly. "I'm not sure it's a conversation that you want to have with me, or anyone in my family. We're not the sort of people who accept the way the world is as the way it has to be. If this is a cultural taboo and it's going to upset you, we should discuss something else."

 

-The mi shows off it´s claws and looks smug-

 

"Headbutting is a nice-kitty move," Mabel points out. "Mean kitties bite and scratch. Headbutts mean they like you."

She pets the @Suspicious Feline.

 

*Claws or not, the cat can still swipe at the Mi.*

*It graciously stops mid-swipe, letting out an odd, choppy purr that sounds more like an imitation of one than the actual sound.*

 

Cultural taboo has very little to do with having insight on the ways of the universe. Mortals tend to overestimate their power over reality. Understandably, as the weight of inevitability and true comprehension and awareness of all the moving parts and their paths is... Overwhelming to minds not made specifically to bear that weight. But very inconvenient.

 

A kittenbot runs over to Unicron. "Who are you? Give us candy!"

Well, even if the cat is a bit mean, at least it's better than another one of those Cronuses showing up. Those people are weird and creepy and their gazes never seem to be meeting my eyes.

I know little other topics, though, I mostly deal with the dead. Although Rillyeneth and Vaska and Jhenya and Torchbearer and Serpent sometimes draw me into their shenaniganry. Caitriona just comes by for tea.
