-smiles her horrifying endless-needle smile and takes the hand with a tentacle. One of the nicer ones, without hooks- Perhaps.

 

Sloane eyes the fearfruit warily. "....if I refuse that, is it going to horribly offend you?" She pauses. "Wait, what do you mean it can be day if I want? What does what I want have to do with it?" She eyes Rayineen suspiciously. It could be that this person controls what happens here, but if that's the case, why would it matter what I want?

"Uh...." Sloane sighs. "I--well, since I'm refusing....whatever that is that I was just offered, I think it's only fair to refuse that too. Sorry." She doesn't sound especially sorry, but is clearly doing her best to avoid offending people.

-shrugs, accepting the refusal, and returns the fruit to the pile- Can be whatever you want for you. I doubt you can see the trees. -there's a bit of smile there; she hasn't projected her forest into the dream for others, but for her there's a canopy keeping her from having an agoraphobic freakout-

Sloane rolls her eyes. "Well, obviously not, I think I'd know if I was there. That does not mean it is safe to take food from random strangers. And offending people can have consequences even in the normal world, so I'm not taking chances, thanks."

Sloane considers this. "So....it's like the Room of Requirement, or something? I guess it would have to be similar, but it's clearly not like the room in how you access it, and if you can change it in real time, prior to entering it, then it's not exactly like the room....but how does it work? The room can't make food, but it seems like this place can....of course, the room's also supposed to be sentient to a degree--would that be the same here if you're influencing it to do things with what you want once you enter the place? No, that wouldn't make sense, the room can make itself what you need it without prompting, this doesn't seem like it works that way..." By the end of this, Sloane is mumbling to herself, apparently having forgotten the person she was just talking to.

Sloane frowns. "I....guess that makes sense? I mean, I went to sleep, I woke up here.... Ah well. I suppose it's not so bad." She looks at Rayineen. "So, uh....who are you, anyway?"
