That doesn't mean every Cronus that exists is. My universe has a counterpart that's very well known in certain circles for the extreme differences in behavior between the bots we're familiar with and the ones in that universe, for example. I believe classic Earth science fiction has some exploration of that phenomenon.

Cronuses I've seen have behaved badly, yes. That does not mean they're all exactly the same.
