Dar'buir is a Mando, rather Mandalorian, concept. A legal procedure as well, from what I remember of my childhood. Almost like a form of divorce but for a child towards their parent. The word itself means "No longer a parent" or "Not a parent". If a parent is deemed unfit for their duties a child is more than free to cut ties from them entirely and seek another parent.
