Valiska glances at Clover with amusement. "Are you hoping that I will tell you not to drink beer, when you already know that?" She shakes her head. "Just don't drink too much. You don't know how susceptible you are, and Severin said that it was too strong for you. I don't want you to get ill."

It isn't fun to push boundaries if she doesn't get excited about it, but she has to show concern for the abandoned kitling to gain any trust. It's a merry dance and she has to let Clover lead it.
