If I need to be clearer, tasting any amount of my blood binds people to me body and soul. It's...unpleasant. To put it mildly.

You have not experienced firsthand what such a bond does to someone. You have not violated someone so thoroughly. I will not be told by you that I could simply hope for some supposed "cure" to the situation. I'm not willing to take that chance. I will not take that chance. My blood will stay where it belongs and if I am forced into some hypothetical situation where it is bind someone or die, I am taking the knife.

I'm fairly sure you have worshippers. They aren't very open about it, but I've encountered a few.
