"Hey, I managed to convince my dimension's Ford to join the party too! He'll be around sooner or later!"

Ford takes this in. "I thought she was joking," he says, "but...she does tend to say 'want to fuck?' in situations where most people would say hello. She never said it to me, but...I don't have a problem saying no, although sometimes I am dumbfounded when I realise someone is actually making a pass at me that's more subtle than that." He shrugs.

Ford sighs. "You are trying to force an incredibly huge consciousness into a space the size of an extra-large human brain case," he points out. "You might do well to take short breaks from humanoid form, unless of course you're afraid you'll lose your empathy. But I don't think you will. There's a blue one called Will with an incredible excess of empathy."

Ford smiles at him. "I know that nothing that happened to me is your fault," he says gently. "There's an evil version of me out there in the multiverse. Runs around dressed in blue clothing and furs. Has the most incredibly annoying maniacal laugh." He shrugs. "It's just...sometimes. So tell me how you and Other-Me fell in love, or...since he's coming, he can tell me himself. Or, alternatively...tell me how you managed to convince Lise not to attack you on sight. The other one hates her more than anyone else I care about, because she's a cursebreaker and she freed me."

 

Catte cannonball!

Valiska jumps up and leaps up to the top of the rock formation, does a backflip, then cannonballs right into the pool they are in.

 

Ford laughs. "Showoff!" he says, but he's clapping.

 

"If you mean Stanford Gleeful, believe me, I've MET him. Or an instance of him, at least... I can't say I'm very... fond of him. In fact, if you see him coming, let me know so I can get the heck OUT." He shudders, making a face before continuing, clearing his throat. "I think it's best Stanford told you- as for how Valiska didn't attack me on sight, well, she met him first, so... That's probably a big part in it! And as for taking breaks from this form, no thanks! I'll endure a little bit of memory loss here and there, it's no big deal!"

Cosmina wasn't the one that made the joke it's the big more furry dude she wandered in with. And anyway that sort of greeting is... not gonna fly with Scanner no matter who says it for reasons you can try to pry out of him yourself if you're that curious. There's a reason he is exempt from my almost-omnidirectional casual flirting with mechanoids :P

"Yes, that one," says Ford, "and don't worry--he doesn't come here. He may actually be dead. We're not sure. He ran afoul of the Condesce and now she has Will."

 

Valiska is dunked! (She's not trying very hard to evade him, but it won't end well for him if he actually tries to hurt her.) She comes back up giggling.

 

-laughs even harder and half-floats on her back. Half because she's pretty dense actually and her feet keep sinking to touch the bottom-

 

"If she does, he's probably still alive, unfortunately- You can't kill him off without hurting Will in the process or I would have done it myself a LONG time ago." His voice takes on a darker tone at the last words, his eye seeming to fill with stormclouds for just a moment. He held one hell of a grudge and didn't plan on letting it go anytime soon. His voice quickly resumed its' chipper tone, however. ".... But who knows! Things are different here, in MANY ways, so there's always that possibility- maybe their deal's worked out different or something! Uh- should probably move on to another subject, though, huh...."

 

"I understand if you don't want to talk about it," says Ford, "but since she's already got agents in our dimension and personally intends to make an end of our family, I'd be grateful for any information you're willing to share."

He sighs heavily.

"Alternia and Gravity Falls had a wide-open rift during Weirdmageddon, which is how I ended up with three troll girls in my family. Unfortunately, it's ALSO how a lot of people got the unfortunate idea that a red-blooded guy born under the star sign of Cancer wearing an oversized red sweater and walking around with shackle burns on his wrists was the reincarnation of some troll mythological figure who needed to be taken out with extreme prejudice. At least I'd had interactions with trolls before. Thanks to Sunshine."

 

-sits down next to Ford. One of my characters is actually clothed for the first time in days! She's wearing the Dress though, because it's great and she wants to and it has easy access to her tats-

So. We're hanging out with a Bill now. This is surreal. -she's wary but calm. William isn't pulling anything she could remotely describe as shit, and Ford's not freaking out. But having one of his moirails nearby wouldn't hurt, right?-

 

"I'm not willing to share it HERE, that's for sure. As much as I don't want to talk about it at all, it might- MIGHT- help you out. But first, we need to find a place away from prying eyes, if you catch my drift- I don't want my own family getting involved, thanks! We've got enough on our plates already!"
He also lets out a small sigh, taking in this new information and pondering if he should write it down somewhere.

 

Ford may actually be leaning against Moira a little bit. He doesn't mind that Valiska went off to play splashfight, because she knows he knows @Wilhelm--shit, he went to his wedding--but it does not hurt at all to have her there.

"That's completely understandable," Ford says. "I'll see what I can do about arranging that. You sure you don't want to come into the pools? It's nice."

 

"I'm definitely sure! Anyway," He quickly tries to change the subject from the pools, "Arranging that would be great as I very highly doubt sending a letter would work in your favor, because who listens to the law about opening other people's mail, am I right?"

 

Valiska paddles back over for a moment. She did not think the cannonball thing through and now all of her hair is wet, which makes swimming a little difficult since she didn't bother to tie and pin it up properly.

"So if you know Will, do you also know Belle, @Wilhelm? Will is blue, of course. But Belle is pink, and she spends a lot of time with the Homeworld Gems."

 

He pauses and glances over at her, processing her sentence before shaking his head. "Can't say I do. I'm sure with all of the wandering around I do I'll end up doing so sometime, but I haven't yet! Time will tell!" He replied, downing his drink and setting the empty glass aside.
