She won't snap it--she has enough enemies right now, and the backlash might hurt Mabel. But she squeezes it, like an IV line, until the flow is but a dribble. "Yeah?" she says. "Am I?"

 

-Mabel punches Alex's throat.-

 

Alex doesn't dodge quite fast enough--she wasn't expecting a physical response, but it is a response. "Guess not," she coughs after she recovers herself a little. "Guess I deserved that, but I did prove my point. That's not yours."

 

-Mabel might not have as much power from Bill, but she's got the power of the Rave, and in here, they feel like the same thing. She thinks she's got the power, so she does. She steps forward with glowing blue fists and eyes, scowling.-

Alex sighs. This is a dreamspace. Will is no longer bound to the family. But she has Lissa's training in manipulating dreams, and Stanford has never erased her memories. Her fists and eyes glow yellow. "We don't have to do this," she says. "I was trying to prove a point, not harm you. I could have done a lot worse. But if you want a fight, you can have one."

 

That's 'cause they hurt themselves worst than that by just being themselves.
