Here's some advice kiddo: When you say you like something people will take it away the next time you don't perform to their expectations. Don't admit to being attached to anything and never allow anyone to assume cooperation from you without there being at least a week of fighting over it.

That makes sense. You can't let your guard down just because things seem nice at first. That's how they get you!

 

I'm not sure any of the others mention it, but there are drawbacks. For one, the spill doesn't affect people unless they have serious issues, and it this a nasty way of exacerbating those issues. Just like what happened to Roy...

Yup. And our bosses aren't fragging stupid. There's a couple people on board I don't think would be capable of having a plot that runs centuries. Too stupid, too impatient, skills not refined enough...

No, that's true. Oar, now, Oar couldn't run a plot for a week without bragging about it, but neither of them are Oar.

Honestly sometimes I still think every new friend I've found on the TEAM is secretly plotting against me, but I don't think Burlesque and Triage would get along well enough to make that work. It's probably just me being stupid. I'll take being happy now. I can understand why you're not dropping your guard though.
