... You know, I'm thinking we've got a conflicting needs issue here. Kankri's and Porrim's issues deserve to be heard, but on the other hand, everyone else deserves to be treated with respect, as well. If the way Kankri is talking is the only way he ever could make himself heard, that's awful.
Kind of like when people took offence to me using "it" pronouns. Some people have bad experiences with getting unpersoned, but for me it's accurate because of my species. Who's in the right?
The last question was rhetorical. They deserve to not be called "it" if they don't want to, but I reserve the right to my pronouns, damn it.

this is another example of a place where u conflate uncomfy w morally wrong. u have the right to express ur boundaries regarding ppl flirting w u but karkat is not u even if he looks like u. by trying to extend ur boundaries 2 him u ignore his own boundaries, which is probably what oneira meant regarding ur pattern of behavior being similar 2 ways ppl would ignore ur boundaries. i would suggest in the future putting up a rave privacy curtain to block out interactions between other ppl that make u uncomfy but are not in and of themselves objectively bad.
