Dances are traditionally performed by trines, though exceptions can be made for teaching, such as now. They were performed during trining ceremonies or in celebration of a new batch of fliers for example. Ideally, they are the visible expression of the trine bond and should be treated with respect. That does not mean they may never change, or have to be always ceremonial, but they are not just an amusing trick.
