Quite so. I got off relatively easy, but some people were treated quite badly. It was the whole reason the war was started to begin with, and I still think that it is one of the few instances were nonviolent resolution wasn't possible due to how entrenched the system was. Even if the war then went far beyond any sensible measure, on both sides, the initial reasoning was something I agreed with, and still do in some ways.
