Um it's a racial thing, people of my skin tone or near it are called 'black' because we're about as dark as humans get. I'm pretty mid-range, but uh... Brown is another term, generally used for lighter ethnicities. I think Black is rooted in some bullshit because black is 'evil bad' or something but I'm not sure. I don't study that shit, you'd have to ask Sitara.

Skin? Nah. Only like-- Lighter colored people can darken from tanning, sorta like how paint fades but in reverse and only for a short period of time. Uh, age can change it but it's like mostly diseases cause skin color change, or tattoos. But tats aren't like a whole body thing unless you're super committed to pain.
