[Updraft softly meeps in surprise and his wings manage to get into 'at attention' pose without the rest of him quite following because y'know it's the rave, but old habits die hard. Apparently even after three million years of no military anything]

Of course! Unless the Winglord cares to honor me again-- [Ignis very carefully does not look over at Starscream, lest the hopeful note to that be taken as rising above his station--] this'll only be a solo piece, I haven't got the... brainpower to really summon partners here, but a dance is a dance!

[Ignis steps back up into the air-- literally steps, as if climbing a staircase, hovering on his heel thrusters again. The poles vanish, but the bronzy iridescent ribbons he was wearing when he showed up reappear.]

 

Evening, sir. [Commander? What title did he even use? Should be use one? Ahhhh. It's not helping that well, it's Starscream. Who's like, Certified Hottest Member of High Command(TM), resulting in Updraft's wings do a little nervous fidget dance behind him before - with some difficulty - settling in 'respectful but neutral']

 

[Ohhhh. He's seen dances before but it's been a while and Ignis is already pretty if he's just standing somewhere, never mind this. His wings rise and spread, interest clear in every bit of body language and expression even if he stays quiet, lest he distract]

 

Perhaps I might. -Starscream sees what you did there. he steps up and offer Ignis his hand. His body is shifting into something lighter and sleeker than his warframe.-

-Amused flick of his wings.-

 

[Dick just settles in, casually leaning against Updraft's leg while making awe-filled noises under his breath at the two dancing Vosians.]

 

[He is either dead and the whole Allspark thing is a lot closer to his adolescent fantasies than anyone ever suggested, or he's going to die right here, right now, from watching this. But wow would he die happy. He's making a few agreeing, awefilled noises of his own, wings flickering in the most minute of mirroring movements to the dance. It looks so complicated, hell he can see how complicated that is and it's lovely. But he's taking care not to dislodge the organic against his leg or hit them with his wings]

 

[Ignis takes the offered hand and bows low over it for a moment, wings spread wide to accentuate the deferential gesture; and then it's time to dance, and he can forget about rank for a little while.

He sticks to an old, traditional form, not wanting to improvise too much with a partner he hasn't flown with more than once, but even that has to be enough to impress the audience. It's not every day Vosians perform in public, much less for grounders!]

 

"I'd also like to try. You said you'd let me before, Ignis!" Lissa grins at Batman. "I'm the right size to dance with you, but we're trained completely differently, so we'd have to work things out on our own. I don't know any circus moves. Everything I know is martial arts combined with exotic dancing, and most of it alien. Also, my feet don't work the same way as yours. My cover identity when I met Ford was as a student who was an exotic dancer by night so that she could go to school in the day."

 

Ford looks at his counterpart with great amusement.

"So, my Fiddleford and I did cheat on his wife, but I've never in my life fucked a student."

 

-The form is familiar, and Starscream has to resist adding flourishes to it. While it would look impressive, making his partner miss a beat would not. He´s wearing his crown, only it´s is subtly diferent, and anyone watching them dance might see soft impressions of soaring towers and hih arches bridges around them, Vos as it would have looked before the war-

 

Ford is sorely tempted to slap his otherself, but only for a moment, because Starscream. Is dancing.

And fuck that guy. She wasn't really a student. And he knew that.

[Eventually, the dance comes to an end; Ignis might be able to loop it into something else, but dragging Starscream along for more than he agreed to is a capital-letters Bad Idea. Ignis bows to him again instead, fans running high from the exertion... aaaand maybe just a bit because he just danced with the handdamn Winglord, aaaaaaaAAAA

I did! You wanted to try silks, right? I dunno what kind of material would work for you, you're so soft? But you want something with just enough give to it that it won't leave you dented or scraped if you have to stop yourself quick, and obviously it needs to be able to support your weight.

[Even as he talks, two more spires appear in ghost-Vos, vibrant purple ties hanging from each. They're of a size he could dance on, but Lissa might be better off just using them as as template.]

 

[He does recognize the shapes of Vos, even if he'd never seen it more than passing but even as ghosts or gorgeous and it stays around when the dance ended. Should be applaud? He kind of wants to? And honestly considering that nobody that happens in here actual really happens he just... goes for it, applauding them, wings canting back and wide in a show, of 'impressed, admiration'. At least he's got the good sense to keep his fans in check and not let them spin up, though they really want to. No, bad, inappropriate, down.]

 

[His eyes narrow for a splitsecond, before he straightens up, bowing with a flourish. Then he looks up at her, eyes behind the mask twinkling with mischief]

[He is suddenly wearing gauntlets that look more like they belong to a super suit. And then he is gone, ziplining up into some scaffolding that is clearly meant to be for balance and spatial awareness training purposes.]
