Well, I realise that they didn't have all the taboos we have now, but the way that people talked about some of the people who were known to fuck actual children as opposed to sexually mature teenagers thousands of years ago inclines me to believe that sexing up people Norm's size was not normal behaviour then, either.

(Actually, 2000-6000 years ago, depending on where you were, there were sometimes a whole lot of sex taboos.)

ETA: not saying it couldn't have happened, just saying, fucking little kids has never ever been sane socially accepted behaviour in human societies except for people who by virtue of brute force or wealth were above the law.
